    He should have not got the first booking. The second was just stupidity on his part. I could argue that a ref would normally not be so quick to book a player already on a yellow, he pulled out of the second challenge which got him the booking, hardly deliberate.

    But in the end, what goes around comes around. We got lucky on the weekend against Chelsea, not so lucky against Everton. I'm annoyed, but it's the Prem I'm after, and getting knocked out now may be a blessing in disguise.

      We're usually fairly bland and turgid at the best of times but when we play Everton it's the wrong ends of a magnet meeting and repelling each other - the negative ends.

      Now we can get on with frittering away our league hopes on the same basis, because we'll do well against the top four and then come a cropper at places like Portsmouth. Who seriously fancies us to take a win there this weekend, because I don't.
