    Officiating...

As usual there is another refereeing cock up but this time it went against us. I still can't believe Lucas was sent off while Pienaar & Arteta just got yellow cards! Pienaar's tackles were WAY worse than Lucas' & Arteta's were also bad plus he kept diving when anyone went near him! Also the way Torres was hacked to pieces also wasn't seen.
There is no ****ing consistency with referees & it pisses me off no end!

I've just been speaking to some neutral fans at work and they couldn't believe Lucas got sent off whilst Piennar stayed on the pitch. So it's not just us being biased. It was a joke decision but oh well it's done now, nothing we can do about it unfortunately.

Lucas' red was an absolute joke by virtue of the ridiculous first yellow; however he must learn to ****ing tackle. His Wigan replica challenge just outside the box showed he hasn't learned and he continually gets there late and leaves a leg dangling.

Thought Wiley had a shocker. They kicked us off the park and he allowed it to happen.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

All because Moyes was moanign about how his team are hard done too, Pienar shouldn't have been on the pitch, his a dirty little get.

Ah well, let them have their moment of glory, they don't come very often for the blue half

After Lampard at the weekend better to just accept it and move on. We're not really in a position to complain.

On another day Alonso would have got 2 yellows though.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

We've got nothing to complain about, the player has to take responsibility.

I was screaming at the TV as soon as I saw Lucas heading in Lescotts direction,

                'F*cking Leave 'im!'

He was on the half-way line and should have just passed him on, but instead he made a challenge that was a clear Yellow card offence, you see them in every game.

It doesn't matter if the first yellow wasn't deserved, he was on a yellow and made a stupid challenge, Lucas has to take responsibility, not the ref.

Cahill should have had a straight red for his elbow/straight arm on Carragher and I think everyone knew we'd get the rough end of the decisions.
The minute Gerrard walked off it was never going to be our night, still one less competition to be in when our hopes rest soley with Gerrard and Torres

That ******* Cahill should have been sent off for that blatant elbow in Carraghers face, ******.

The thing at Goodison that is what you come to expect from them, the rough house stuff, if the Ref had clamped down more firmly maybe the game might have gone in a different direction.
                    We come not to play.

They're just an alehouse team, can't play football so they resort to kicking you off the park.

yeah i'm with u pippo - lucas's fault no-one else. I can understand he must have been frustrated as he had been snapped a few times, but he is clumsy in the tackle, just a bit slow and sticks a leg out,

**** it. I not that worried by it to be fair. Lets just forget about the FA cup, lets concentrate on getting the squad on form and working hard and worry about the league and europe.

I do feel though at the moment the vultures (press and opposition fans) are just circling our club at the moment, despite on paper we are having one of our best seasons in years we are just getting slaughtered and we are an easy target. It's like we have been become an injured animal and it's no down to whether we are going to hide and lick our wounds and await the inevitable death or are we going to come out fighting for our lives.

We need to stick together and try and create a 'siege' mentalitiy - get every pulling in the same direction just for a few months and then at the end of the season sort out all the **** then. Seriously, for now though it's impossible with our soap opera of a club, the players, the management, the owners, the fans all need to come out, stick together and go out ****ing fighting.

Oh and by time the champs league games come round and we knock Real Madrid out, all these **** ewill be forgotton about

I hope Gerrard and Torres are "injured" for the Spain v England game next week.

Wasn't worthy of it's thread but just wanted to say that somewhere

I only saw the game from half-ime on but Lucas can't complain about the second yellow and should have known better, also we were lucky Xabi wasn't sent off.

No point in blaming the officials for the loss, we couldn't break them down over 120 mins and that's our fault. Show a bit of class and let them have their moment in the sun.

I thought the referee was broadly speaking right in his decisions. The first Lucas card was harsh but otherwise no one can really complain about the yellows doled out. There could have been a couple more but some leeway has to be given in physical matches like that.
