Why don't the Beeb bid for Champions League games? Surely they would do a better job. It could be money problem.

ITV probably get a hell of a lot of cash from firms wanting to place adverts at half time etc so it'd be much more self financing for them than the BBC.

I watched it on Setanta because I didn't realise that it was on ITV - I try not to watch ITV anyway because it's the devil's sperm..

but any way if you think those two are bad you should have heard the setanta team. Just about managed to make the observation that both sets of fans wanted to win this game..

I was a but a wee nipper during his halcyon days. I wasn't after insight. I just wanted someone who sounded really genuinely excited about it all. And I liked the sound of his voice. Same reasons I also loved the much-maligned Baz Davies.
