    Gerrard Suffers Hamstring Tear

Liverpool Football Club today confirmed Steven Gerrard suffered a tear to his left hamstring during Wednesday night's FA Cup defeat at Everton.
Gerrard limped out of the action just sixteen minutes into the fourth round replay at Goodison and now faces three weeks on the sidelines.

A club spokesman told Liverpoolfc.tv: "A scan today has confirmed a tear in the hamstring of Steven's left leg. He will be out of action for about three weeks."

Looking on the bright side at least he'll be back for the trip to Old Trafford
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

He might be back for the first leg against Real Madrid.

Pompey and City he is definitely out of.

But he has been over-worked and it was bitterly cold yesterday hence it is a small tear.

Am i right in saying that Alonso and Lucas are both suspended for the Pompey game? If so that leaves us woefully short in the centre of the park. Personally i'd give Jay Spearing a chance, failing that it would be tempting to play Aurelio in there!

Isn't it the game after for Xabi i.e. the City game? Either way, it's time for other players to step up to the plate in Stevie's absence.

Oh ****. This miserable cold weather and last night's result and now this. I just want to crawl under the duvet until spring.
