well gutted - i said yesterday i wouldn't have minded if carra, gerrard and torres missed out last night! - the rest was needed for all three it was obv to anyone. But **** it whats done is done - we will have to move to 4-4-2 imo with torres up front with either kuyt/Babel/ngog and right mid either kuyt/benayoun depending on whats up top.

Mascherano in the middle with Xabi and if we have no xabi or lucas i'd be tempted to go with spearing who at least we know will give us his all.

Gerrard will be able to rest for a couple of weeks and be firing on all cylinders for the rest of the season. We did quite well without Torres, let's hope we can do the same without Gerrard. I usually hate the international break, but it works in our favour with regard to Stevie this time.

It's disaapointing but it could have been worse. At least it's only 2 or 3 games he misses and it's coincided with the international break.

Can't play Plessis in a league match imo. Just not up to it.
