    The Way I See It.

Just a few random thoughts this morning.

1- The loss of Gerrard is harsh, but thank goodness it's for three weeks only. Let's hope Macha and Xabi can step up to the plate and do us proud. We seem too reliant on him. Torres needs someone else to tag with.

2 - This is the best time for Babel to shine. Rafa has to give him a chance and he better deliver the goods.

3 - Lucas must be Rafa's cousin or something. Why was he on the pitch?

4 - Sami is still needed. He should've been on the pitch for the experience and leadership next to Skrtel. Do not sell.

5 - The F.A. Cup would have spread us too thin. Now we can concentrate on the big ones.

6 - Neverton are like Hemorrhoids. Annoying *******s who are not serious health hazards but are a pain that doesn't seem to get relegated. They must feel as ecstatic as we did in Istanbul; fecking losers.

7 - I feel very optimistic about this season. Now let's see if Rafa can put his money where his mouth is can win some silverware.

I hope you are right. Rafa must have seen something in the lad to to bring him over. So far he has not delivered the goods.

Of course he has a future here. Rafa loves him and that's all that matters.

Babel is not going to shine.

          Forget that idea.

I hope he does. He cost 11 Million and Rafa has very few other options. Ngog and El Zhar are not ready yet.

You're either mad or you've never seen him play.

He is an absolutely dreadful footballer.

There are many around these parts that would disagree with you....

Those many around those parts must not exist like Philip Degen. Lucas is absolutely poor and only an absolute minority (1 in a million possibly) think he's good enough to play for LFC

We could use Dossena as a left winger.

How long are we waiting for Babel to step up? Not holding my breath.

Our problem is width as always.

                      ------------------------------Kuyt----Riera
                      Beat a man------------------- No------No
                      Cross-------------------------No------Yes
                      Pace--------------------------No------No
                      First touch--------------------No------Yes

When is the last time you saw them get to the line and get in a cross that finds a head thats attached to a neck thats attached to a red shirt?

                        fairly often!

He may not be quite first team material at the moment, but he can develop. If he was he would have cost a lot more money.

Sometimes you need to stick with a new player whilst they develop, like Fergie seems to do (i.e. Ronaldo & Evra).

The irony is that if Fergie or Wenger bought him, probably he will be given more time to play and eventually he will shine !!!

And play your best centre back in Carra where exactly? Right back? ****ing hell why do people think Skrtel is so good? I'd rather have Carra & Agger everyday. Carra defends lost causes and Agger brings composure on the ball. Only thing they lack is dominance in the air. This will come.
