That makes a lot of sense. I didn't know Nike were capable of subtlety but there's always a first time.Originally posted by Pedenj View PostI was reading about this earlier, can't remember the site to be honest, where they suggested that the focus on the nike gear was getting more and more (the start of this one with the trainers). And that this could possibly be a subtle viral ad campaign by Nike.
Not got a clue myself, thought I would throw it out there..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

According to some site I foundOriginally posted by Pedenj View PostNot sure if it is this one, but he's done a few weird ones and in each the level on Nike branding goes up and up. A couple of people reckon it is a viral ad.

The series of cheesy adverts starring Fernando Torres are, in fact, a viral campaign by the Spanish bank Banco Gallego. The hair salon, tennis school and dog school featured in the commercials seem to be genuine businesses, but they are not Nando’s friends as he claims. The adverts were shot in the tongue-in-cheek cheesy style because, let’s face it, we wouldn’t all be talking about the bank if they put singing employees on their latest advert..

I thought it was for Nike too, certainly SOME kind of viral thing. Thing is, unless you scour the net, how are you supposed to find out that its for some bank?! TOO subtle surely!I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

It's very likely there has been some PR about it in Spain which is, I imagine, where the bank operates and the target consumers are.Originally posted by Fierce View PostI thought it was for Nike too, certainly SOME kind of viral thing.
