While I agree someone with experience of what it takes to win league titles would be useful, I find it interesting that everyone is talking about another central midfielder I know this is a key position to influence the game, but I'm wondering why people are so keen on another central midfielder when this is one of the stronger areas of our squad. Surely if we were looking for someone we should have been looking for someone experienced with quality in one of our weaker areas of the team?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think it's just the players realistically available. Forwards tend to burn out and are rarely leaders. Fullbacks who lead a team are even rarer, especially of the sort we need, we have 4 good centrebacks. Basically leaving the three behind Torres - where Seedorf could play I guess. Also I think if Gerrard plays off Torres on this seasons form there is a place in CM to compete for.

Not exactly a Gary Mac signing but...

Would like to see 'Tuncay' play for a big club, in certain situations i think he would help us unlock stubborn defences, either as a winger or striker, has the ability to produce the unexpected, would need to be more consistent i know, but maybe playing for a bigger club with a chance of silverware would give the desired results.

Does Seedorf even play centrally any more? I was under the impression he tends to play on the left although not wide.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

              Nor has Seedorf.

Why would we pick a squad player from Milan to play for our first team? He doesn't have pace, mentality and his technical ability has slowly deteriorated. It would be like having another Kuyt. Imagine that on both wings!

Are you saying that Seedorf would play like 3 kuyts? If that's the case and he covers both wings at the same time than I'm all for the signing. The opposition would never get out of their box

Good idea. I reckon your team would be unbeatable.

Agreed . Reminds me of Louis in that he can do the unexpected, however he's a bit more physical and finds his man with his passes a bit more frequently.

Wicked player. Barca are apparently willing to let him go for 12m in the summer. That's a lot of cash for a player with 2 seasons left at the top, but if he helps us win the league in those two seasons, it'll be well worth it.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I like him but he has a number of the same problems as Benayoun (although he seems stronger).

They don't call him the Sun King for no reason.
