Ah exciting to see this team. It may be because Kuyt isn't starting. I know a lot of people are going to complain about this selection but there's some interesting things to see. Hopefully Babel can get the kind of form we know he has and N'gog shows he has what it takes to perform at this level. We really need to be winning this match.

Aurelio at central midfield is an interesting one, I saw him there a few times for Valencia. His great passing range means that he looked almost like a poor mans left footed Alonso. He hasn't played there for us yet I don't think, but surely he can't do a worse job than Lucas.

3-5-2 i reckon. not a bad line up and defo a strong enough one to whip pompey. alonso injured but fit enough for bench and torres knackered but again a great option for last 15 mins or so if needed.
