I thought Redknapp was worse-considering he is a former LFC captain.

Telling everyone how 'Lucky' we were to win on Saturday then praising the mancs for yet another 1-0 win.

    Terrible terrible punditry.

and yeah setanta especially sherwood are cunts

tired - **** they want to get a real job
It's certainly not a myth. That's why Torres has had hamstring problems after playing 12 months straight. It's why Gerrard has pulled his hamstring after playing game after game and Rafa getting crucified for taking him off against Wigan.

I think this "you tell them they're tired and they will be" might have something to it but only from a mental point of view in that you may 'feel' more tired. It won't make your hamstrings snap.

I watch the match on ****anta and was gob-smacked at just how blatant Sherwood was at the end! He really was laying in to us, they have absolutely no chance of winning the league etc.

The thing that really infuriated me all weekend was all this talk of resting Torres. Alan Green on 606 (I thing it was him, may be wrong) said to one caller "why is Benitez resting Torres when he will play 90mins for Spain midweek. I was actually screaming at the TV that that is the exact reason why he rested him. He thought he could get a result without starting him and he was right. If he started he would have played an hour maybe, and Rafa knows that if he is fit enough Spain will play him for most of their meaningless game.

It all made absolute sense to me, why can't all these 'experts' see it. Just shows how biased and blinkered they are.

And for all their ****e about his selection, for the fact that you just know they were waiting for us to lose. For Tim Sherwood's idiocy "The Pompey defenders will be worrying about Torres. Well dont worry boys, he's not playing!" (big smug grin and giggle). Well shove that up your mediocre playing career arse, you waste of space gob****e.

          Love it.
If we'd have lost and rafa said that I am pretty sure you would have not accepted it.

Can't work you out fella..pro or anti Rafa?

Why does he necessarily have to be one or the other? Perhaps he just agrees with him some of the time and disagrees others?

That's the problem in so many of the threads on here - everything has to be so black and white.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Like I said if someone had used Rafa's reasoning to defend the selection and we had lost they would have been shot down by many people on here as the 'rafa can do no wrong' brigade.

Just seemed odd for somone who has been questioning benitez a lot lately to choose to applaud this.

                Setanta reporter: Is Torres tired?

                Rafa: Yes.

Reporter: And Kuyt, is he tired too?

                Rafa: Yes.

Reporter: Why is Jamie Carragher not tired? He's played more than Torres.

Rafa: Someone who knows about football knows that a striker runs more than a defender.

                Quality response rafa

Why is it odd? I question him when i feel he gets it wrong, but praise good decisions that turn out right. Nobody can say anything about him on Saturday, we won the game, so he was proved right.

In this particular cases, i'm applauding a quality reposte to a gobby reporter.

                    Spot on.

I'd also like to say I'm genuinely appalled at the **** some pundits spew with regard to us, our manager and our chances of silverware this season. Sherwood has put himself on a par with the likes of Merson after his 'performance' on Saturday and I'm at a loss as why Setanta or anybody would pay to have his myopic, retarded, biased and generally poor opinions expressed on their network.

**** him and all others like him.

I didn't think it was possible for me to want to win the league more than I already do but, I think the opportunity to stuff it down the throats of these muppets would add an extra cherry on the cake.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

                      Long story.......

                      Short version.

I shagged one of the owners missus. He and the other owner (they were best mates) came after me and ended up getting the wrong end of the "lesson" they were going to teach me. As the departed with their tales between their legs thay were shouting and screaming that I was banned from there establishments

The funny thing is that someone actually gave me VIP tickets for the opening night, so I turned up with his then ex missus, just for a laugh. These 2 were at the door welcoming people, you should have seen their faces when they saw the 2 of us in the queue.

Obviously we never got in but it was a great fun

There seems to be an increase of bull**** from the media with regards to Rafa, probably due to their smelling blood after recent results.

What I will say is that Tommy Smyth (with a Y) out did himself last night on ESPN press pass here. I know he is a ****wit and a scum supporter but the bull**** he said last night went way over the top. I was fuming but by the end I just consoled myself with the fact he must be ****ting himself.

I have it recorded on Austar (Skybox equivalent?) and if I had me computer connected to it I would send it to Rafa and recommend him sueing for libel.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

He's lost it. He's an idiot. Got no idea what he is doing etc etc. Built into a big crescendo of embarrasment. I might watch it again later but i am watching the cricket now, so if you don't mind shhh!:bird:
