I think Aurelio is a very good general player. Good touch and passing, decent vision and crossing and once he gets a few games under his belt solid defensively. The problem such as it is for him is that he is not the sort of dashing fullback who overlaps at pace that would really enhance our system and the fact he is too injury prone for it to be worth looking at altering what we do otherwise.

To be fair, if we can get him off of free kicks, he is an average defender. A decent squad player. No more, no less.

So, he goes from "****ing awful", to "average" to "a decent squad player" in 1 post. Genius.Originally posted by Charly View PostHe's ****ing awful.

What i want to know is who thinks he's a set piece genius? Ive never seen him labelled as one. He has a nice cross, and can hit a free kick pretty well.....but "set piece genius"??
No wonder Charly feels let down

Thought his delivery from corners on Sat was a marked improvement on what we usually get.Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

Im sorry, but hitting the post is still a miss. His free kicks are rubbish. "Nearly" is always a miss, no matter how much bend he can put on it.Originally posted by Marc. View PostYou not see the movement of his first free-kick? Was ridiculous the swurve on the ball that hit the post.
Carragher isn't to good then is he.
There is enough quality in his free-kicks to be deemed a threat. He rarely gets his chance with Gerrard and Alonso out there.
Carra doesnt take free kicksIn the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Aurelio hit the post yesterday with a peach of a FK BTW
Some people wouldn't know a good player if he kicked them up the ass FFS
HE does take quite a few, if you watched us you would realise that.
Hitting the post with a "peach" of a free kick.... He missed... Plum!
I have a different deffinition of a "good player", obviously. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

****ing awful was refering to his free kick talent. I thought i was being obvious in that regard, when taken in context to the rest of the post, which you have directly referred to. I guess its not so obvious to the mentally challanged :bird:Originally posted by PC Plod View PostSo, he goes from "****ing awful", to "average" to "a decent squad player" in 1 post. Genius.
Decent squad player = average player. I dont think there is a massive journey from one to the other, although I can understand why you would think so.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
