    Gerrard to Madrid (CL)

Dya think he'll make it or will it come too soon for him? Could do with him being available but the game is exactly three weeks after he picked up the hamstring injury. Cant see him being risked.

I can't see him playing the first leg. Benitez needs to wrap him up in cotton wool. I would play Benayoun off Torres. Kuyt on the right to help Arbeloa with the threat of Robben.

Don't need him for 1st leg. Go there and get a 0-0 or try to nick a 1-0 win

                  We always need him.

No way. The consequences don't even bear thinking about. We are good enough to get a result away in Madrid. Granted, we are **** at breaking teams down, but we are rock solid at the back and are usually only un done by a set piece.

Real will come at us, and that will be their downfall. Three defeats all season says it all for me. One where we had ten men, one where we had our reserves out and the other where we should have won about 5-0.

Over two legs we are a match for anyone in Europe, with or without our best two players in Gerrard AND Torres.

Stevie for the Anfield game please.
                    Forwards.......

I reckon he will be back.
