    Time to kick on.....

For the first time this season, I am starting to believe that we do have a chance of running the Mancs down to the wire.

There are 6 points up for grabs at Old toilet, the winner of that match should win the league, the mancs will be under more pressure than us because they are at home and the way we play away from home gives me confidence that we can nick a result.

Torres is looking sharper each game and Gerrard should be rested and up for it, once he regains fitness, if both of these players can stay fit and show form, we have a good chance. Alonso and Mascher should be kept together and Kuyt and Riera have been rested, ready for the run in.

We dont have any long term major injuries and both fullbacks are showing good form, throw in Yossi and we look in good fettle.

My quiet reserved confidence is starting to grow.

I know what you mean about '6 pointers' but there arent 6 points up for grabs at Old Trafford. There's 3 points up for grabs, and the opportunity to deprive them of 3 points.

    Pedantic, yes.

Anyway, i dont think we'll be winning the league sadly.

They might not play for 3 points. Just a thought.

if our key players stay fit and healthy we'll run it close, but our lack of creativity in the final 3rd will cost us imo! Hope im wrong, just think uniteds extra firepower will be desicive!

We could, possibly, maybe run them down to the wire. But we let them take the driving seat by drawing games on paper we should have won.

The old cliche "It's their title to lose" would be apt now.

By no means have I give up hope, it's just that things could have/Should have been so different.

Meh, after 18 years waiting, one more won't make much difference. At least 2nd would be a step in the right direction. But yeah, it's nice to be in the mix at this stage of the season.

Are you all for real? FFS. Tim Sherwood clearly stated that we have absolutely noooooooo chance. No chance whatsoever.

For the 2nd time in 2 weeks I had a dream about this fixture and the run-in and the first time we won the title but I cant remember the outcome of the 2nd dream it was weird ,Typical the wife was in work and i had the bed to myself so had perfect oppertunity to knock one out and i dream of us beating the mancs priceless.

I got a good feeling about this year .I remember years back we were a few point behind in the title race and we was playing spurs on a sunday and the headlines of one of the sunday papers was dalglish quoting "We need to win our last 12 games to win the league" we was stuttering on time pretty much like this season and on that day we beat Spurs 1-0 Molby pen i think and we did win all our remaining games and win the league I have the same feeling this year.

I just hope it turns out that way or I have been wasting a bit of ME time in the sack

Sherwood only said what 90% of people think. Even some of our own fans are in agreement with him. Personally I would not be so sure, but as a few of our players have stated - We need to win all our games up to that fixture to make sure it actually means something.

No point in going there 7+ points behind them.
