    Real Madrid

They're on a run of 8 straight wins in La Liga and Ramos has stablised them very well. Their league campaign is dead so they'll be putting everything into the Champions League and i think they'll be a very tricky prospect for us.

People still confident that we'll turn them over?

    I'm slightly concerned.

Likewise. I have found it somewhat amusing all along that people seem to thing we will get through no problem.

They have conceded one goal in 2009. Worth a thought.

Still, i think we will be the better off after two legs.

When the draw was made, they were disjointed and all over the place. But they're look very consistent now and a real force.

Ramos joining them was bad news for us, he has brought them stability and they look strong now. Our form, on the other hand, is still a little patchy.

I think it could go either way, personally.

Aye, bit worried. Not even sure I'll see the 1st game tho- off to the Maldives in 2 days. It's a trying time for me.
            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I think we'll lose at their place but the overall result will be very close, maybe away goals.

Is Robben still fit? He could be the key for them.

I went to the Maldives 2 years ago and the island we were on had a sports bar and I watched us beat arsenal with crouch scoring a hat-rick. So fingers crossed and they will have it on for you.

                      Was thinking the same thing.

he missed last nights game but i think he is expected to be back in time for our first tie.

I have never thought we would go through easily and i don't think there are many Liverpool fans who think this. However i do believe we are better organized and more experienced than this Madrid team in this compitition so im not too worried

Robben was out of the squad on Saturday - he might be injured, he was due of course.

Madrid have been waiting for this game since the draw. They, in their heart of hearts, know that the league is gone and the Champions League is the most realistic piece of silverware that they can win and it has been a long time since Real have made an impact on the competition. They have been saying they wanted to peak at this stage of the season to face us which is obviously what has been happening.

Its no real surprise that Juande Ramos has stabilised the defence. It isn't a really bad defence, it just lacked the leadership under Schuster and with the club - on the pitch - heading in the same direction, they look like a good unit. Not as good as his Sevilla side but a side which has grit and team spirit which is refreshing to see considering the poor professionalism from Real sides in the past.

We obv need to stop Robben. He's apparently been switching wings constantly and roaming about the place - whether he'll be allowed to do that against us I don't know. Ramos is a worry as well but Riera did really well against Bosingwa who I would say is similar

Torres will rip their defence a new one anyway, and their midfield is no match for ours
