Hopefully this will enable him to rest in midweek if it's not too serious. Hoped Stevie G's yellow card would mean a suspension for the match on wednesday.

And to think - some people laughed when Owen got injured.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                  * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Kuyt should be alright. If it was serious it would have done the rounds already. Hopefully.

Unless he's gone off on a stretcher, i don't think that is really serious.
