Ronnie Whelan must be loving all this talk about Benitez. He is on RTE giving out about him, saying he is too negative and that he (Whelan) is getting tired of not properly challenging for the title. Aren't we all? But don't go on tv giving out about him. I expect more form a former Liverpool captain. He should be supporting the club and remember who made him what he is.

Got to admit I'm finding it quite hard to get excited about this one. I really wanted us to put in a good show in the premiership this season. I suppose I did think that second would be a good showing, at the beginning of the season, but second with a whimper is a little depressing.
