    Guti's little "Neville-mustache" was excellent!!

Nah, on second thoughts, it was just as embarrassing as the Neville one

Rafa is clearly one of the top Managers out there, in a group of around 5-6 that exist in europe imo, i don't see why any fan would want him gone as some do, his mastery of europe is only tainted by his perceived or so called inadequacies in the Premier league.

But i say to them.... imagine, imagine if he were to master the Premiership in the same way he has europe, to me that's the only way without being able to match other clubs funding we will win leagues, not just one either, because we will need to win more than one if we are to challenge 'them' on the title count in future, we need a man like Rafa to stay and build and also to Learn, it's the only logical and sensible way i can see.

At one stage I caught a glimpse of him warming up and was convinced they were bringing Paul weller on.

As an aside, I was quite disappointed with Andy Gray's performance tonight - about 80 minutes before his first "...and I mean that." I've come to expect so much more.

Astonishingly Joe Cole said it all - Benitez is an absolute master at organasing a team to shut the opposition down completely. I dunno about anyone else but I ****ing love it. They never, ever looked threatening. Make no mistake, Real are a ****-hot attacking team and we ruined them. Mr Ferguson received widespread acclaim for his team's tactical plan against Inter - well what about that ******* huh?! Rafa is the master when it comes to this.

It is no coincidence - under Benitez we have gone to Barcelona, Inter and Real Madrid and WON. Our record is in this competition is unbelievable. Long may it continue. I am absolutely buzzing.

            Get the **** in .

That is a great result. Anyone know how well other English sides have done there? Have any of them won? I remember Man U getting ****ed there a few seasons back, and Arsenal played there 3 seasons ago but did they win? I remember a wonder goal by Henry so they probably did.

If only we could play teams of the stature of Madrid every week in the league. Anyone thing UEFA would be up for swapping some teams between leagues, I dunno, say Boro for Bayern?

The thing is that I just don't believe it. The PL continues to look streets ahead of the Spanish and Italian leagues IMO. Real had no ideas how to get past what in the PL would have looked like an of colour team defensive performance. In the first half they had space and opportunities to exploit it but were slow and unimaginative. We looked god awful but snapped at players when they thought they should have time.

Second half we were good and deserved anything we got.

                  Aurelio was exceptional.

However we were not even as good as we have been in previous Cl campaigns unlike when we were a worse team I felt tonight we won not through our qualities but due to the fact that Real are a relatively poor team, incapable of exploiting their superiority in a game where we looked lackadaisical (at least in the first half).

Let me make this clear, until I saw this interview I was 100% clear that Rafa was going nowhere, that this was all a load of ****, but they way he refused to answer straighforward questions as to whether he was happy here and wanted to stay did not inspire confidence. I' now 80% sure he's off at the end of the season. 80% sure he'll be at RM.

that was a nice touch, seeing rafa saying 'the fans', he gives a ****. i think he just will not play the media game in terms of commiting to anything at all. he doesnt want to give them their headline, let them all speculate.

Well we still need to get rid of Stoke and Fulham at least, errrr, how about Sevilla and Fiorentina?

Real shame that European super-league thing never happened
