Iv always rated him and sometimes cant understand the stick he gets. He can unlock any defence on his day, gets in good positions tacticly, and has a great football brain.

He's an outstanding footballer and always have been. He just needs to play more and gain confidence. The way he skips past players sometimes makes me think with a bit of regularity and consistence to his game, he could well become a world class player. Not sure if he can do it consistently though, which has been his undoing IMO.

He's intelligent, can pass and scores goals. A very good buy, for £5m. And some people questioned Rafa's eye for spotting talent.

Let's not go overboard, but Yossi is improving nicely though and he has a great mentality, would love to see Babel come in like this and stake his claim. They are each responsible for their their own place in the squad, not Rafa.

To give him his due he has been in better than that sort of form for us since Christmas. The problem is that in the PL he still has obvious physical and defensive frailties which can be exploited by the opposition. It was funny how the Real players made him lok so much stronger than he does in the PL.

The last few games yossi has played for us he has been one of best players - certainly in an attacking sense were we have been short of gerrard and torres just looks like he struggling to get fully fit.

Regardless of his goal last night, yossi was playing really well, ran the ball well, found space, and looked lively. - Maybeplaying in europe suits him a bit more too as it's not as physical as the Premier league.
