Think what Elvoz is trying to say is that with Parry gone we have 1 less local voice on the board so we are a little vulnerable to the Yanks managing to load more debt onto us. But under the current market conditions that certainly should not happen, I don't trust the Yanks and i wont be comfortable till they have sold and we can move on properly then

Totally idle speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised now if Rafa signs a new contract within the week.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Great end to a fantastic week!
Hopefully Rafa will have a fighting chance of signing the players he wants this summer."The main thing wrong with this site is I haven't banned enough people yet, despite having acquired banning powers. I shall be putting this right in the next couple of days. If you haven't yet been banned, you soon will be." - Neil Young

Ultimately Parry was in charge from 97 to 2009, during that time our main rivals won more than we did, expanded their stadiums, increased revenue income through better marketing etc...
No-one knows about transfer dealings who signed who etc.. so deal in the facts, he was in charge for 12 years when our rivals by and large out performed us so he was lucky to stay as long as he did.
Anything about the board and one less voice etc.. is all bollocks because no-one knows.
(Except Elvoz obviously

)
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

It certainly appears from press articles that this is something that Rafa wanted.
As a result some facet of his job must be made easier. Ergo - this should manifest itself in result improvement. I accept that the improvement could be commercial, but indirectly should lead to team improvement.
Removing someone from their position is a significant step, so we can expect a significant improvement from our first eleven next year. (I am not writing this season off yet BTW).
Please don't interpret this as Rafa bashing and take the thread down the wrong route. It is merely a projection of what this change means under the supposition that Rafa wanted it."Sir, it's me sir. Jennings sir."
