Yes we actually have a match tomorrow! so moving away from the parry talk

    What dya reckon

Surely torres is injured for this, is gerrard 100% - will we look at resting one or two players after their performences in Madrid?

So is Parry - it's on the offal.

Joking aside, I really hope Boro play to form and we get a comfortable win, however I expect the bastids to raise their game to an all time high and make it a very difficult afternoon as they usually do against us. We really need Stevie for this one.

I'd like to see Babel up top with Gerrard, Benni and Kuyt supporting him. I know Babel is not a striker but he is not a wide player either, he kills off every move so he can't be involved in the build up. Boro could just try to divert our play to the left flank and try and show Babel on the left foot, against City when he came on he was woeful.

So I'l like to see this

        ----------Babel
        Benni----Gerrard----Kuyt
        ---Mascher----Xabi----
        Aurelio-Skrtel-Carra-Arbeloa

Maybe even put Lucas in for Mascher though.
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Read somewhere that Arbeloa might be out for three weeks, not sure it's true though

Watched the highlights of Boro's FA Cup game on Wednesday, they actually played pretty well, typical they find a bit of form and confidence just before we play them! I fear another draw.

Think it was liverpool.no that said Balague had mentioned it somewhere. Hope they are wrong, though.

Hmmm if that's the case I imagine it will be Carragher at RB then. I'd like to see Darby given a chance personally but I imagine Rafa will go with experience and you can't really blame him for that.

                    Unless Kuyt plays RB

                      I think it's a good omen.

                            Arbeloa ‘out for 3 weeks’

According to Spanish football correspondent Guillem Balague, Alvaro Arbeloa will miss Liverpool’s next two matches with Middlesbrough and Sunderland.

The Liverpool full-back has been struggling with a hamstring injury and means Jamie Carragher will most likely move to right back to cover for the Spaniard, with Phillip Degen again injured.

                            Balague writes on his blog;

The hamstring problem that he has been struggling with for a while now, let him down again at the Bernabeu. It looks like there may be a small tear in the muscle and he will spend the next three weeks in plaster. He may return to training in time for the trip to Old Trafford on March 14, but is clearly a doubt for that fixture.

Youngster Stephen Darby will be hoping it could provide an opportunity for him to make his full league debut but that didn’t happen over Christmas when Arbeloa was out, with Rafa Benitez instead preferring Carragher at right back. That means Dani Agger or Sami Hyypia will come in alongside Martin Skrtel.

News regarding Fernando Torres‘ injury is expected later today, with the striker likely to be ruled out of the next two league matches and hopeful of a return at Old Trafford.

Damn, thats a shame. That would mean Carra would play at right back. I hope Agger plays at centre back but I doubt it unless Benitez goes three at the back again.
