Don't get me wrong, I obviously don't want us to get done or anything but I just found the whole Panorama thing dull and I was really wasn't too surprised by any of it either. After the show Radio 5 Live did a phone in and some people were getting so carried away it was unreal - the whole "football has disgraced itself again" line, going on and on about bad examples being set for the kids and how football is to blame for all the ills in society; real Daily Mail readers stuff!!
I know its a serious issue, its just not my bag.

Its absolute nonsense, I agree. No doubt you'll know Alan Green's opinion on it - bungs have always went on, and its no biggy. Previous dodgy transfers will be hard to identify, and lack of evidence will be hard to ensure clubs are made equally accountable. Therefore there will be little in the way of repercussions when the dust settles (few fines etc.) IMHO. Its just sensationalism - its certainly not in the same league (no pun intended) as the Italy scandal, like Tom alluded to earlier.

I do hope at the end of this recommendations will be made to the FA/FIFA to make transfers more transparent, and that would be truly great for the game.

I imagine we would still be implicated with outgoing players, if only by association as the selling club. And the Diouf and Heskey deals always looked a bit dodgy to me, especialy considering fat Sams rep. Of the incoming ones, if Leeds aren't implicated maybe we can count Carson out, and the likes of Fowler and Crouch I doubt will be involved. So that maybe leaves Hobbs, Martin, maybe Zenden?.

Having said that, I doubt we'll find anything dodgy with our incoming transfers during that time anyway.
