Babel is a quality player and i like him alot but what does he have to do to get a game FFS he offers more attacking options than Ngog or Kuyt by a mile.Originally posted by Slurm View PostRafa should sign you up as a scout coz it sounds like you were the only dissenting voice in the crowd when we bought him........

In fairness you wouldn't have picked either of them based on form, which is the right decision. People complain when players play well and are rested or rotated, but I can't believe the number of people who want us to play players who are struggling for form - especially when the team isn't doing too well and we can't afford any passengers.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostPisses me off no end we spend £12m on him and we will be lucky to get £8m! We cry poverty but the fact is we have no money because we either
A. spend it on **** or
B spend it on good quality players like keane and babel and not play them or keep dropping them so their value drops. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

After a promising start Kuyt seems to now be hiding somewhere.
I see whats happened, he just had the ball and was stood on the halfway line with 4 of our players waiting for the ball outside their box.Last edited by FatTony; 03-03-09, 09:41 PM.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Thats fair enough mate but Ngog is not doing much so far and as for resting players i am sure you will agree that there was no need to rest Yossi at the weekend as he must have been full of confidence after the madrid game and to be dropped against boro must have been a ****ter.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostIn fairness you wouldn't have picked either of them based on form, which is the right decision. This is pretty poor again. We were quite lively initially but the last 20 minutes have been dire.
I think I just heard someones crisp packet...

Ngog brought the ball forward, laid it off to Mascher who shoots wide into the side netting
