Ahh so so true, when he just uses his power and pace he frightens defenders and looks so much more dangerous.

I dont think we'll be winning it, but let's keep the race alive as long as we can. If (and they're both big ifs), Newcastle can win tomorrow - and we can go to Old Trafford and win, it'll look more interesting.

We can finish 2nd still anyway.
Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah. Lets halt this optimist train here. Newcastle getting a result against United. You must be smoking and drinking something.

I think today showed (what alot of people have been saying) that we don't need to play two holding midfielders at home against these types of teams, the extra attacking options we had from having two up front and Gerrard coming from centre midfield made a difference
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Well other than his goals at Rangers and PSV, I'd seen nowt from Ngog to suggest he could play. There's been some games when I'm sure he's surrendered possession every time he's had it.

He did really well tonight, and visibly grew in confidence - especially after his goal. Great to see.

Newcastle are the only team to get a result at Old Trafford this season.

But don't let that stop your doom and gloom

I pretty much agree but there's been plenty of occasions when we've gone 4-4-2 with Gerrard + 1 in CM, and been utter ****.

Bollocks is correct. Looking at those games presenting on that graphic, the only teams that might do the dirty on United could be us or Arse. If it miraculously goes to the final game of the season with Hull in a dogfight, it might make it interesting...

True but United didn't have Berbatov or Ronaldo on that day. It seems like a long time ago but Keegan was in charge then too

I'm hopeful and all that, but let's be blunt mate, it's really not gonna happen is it?

Only managed to seen the 2nd half, now that we've nothing to really play for we seemed to have the confidence to knock it about a bit at times! Which is a shame that we don't have the confidence to do it more often, yossi was good tonight but overall for me he's to timid and isn't good enough! Insua gives us more thrust down the left however he can get sucked into too tight to the centre backs at times, but that will be addressed through experience!
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

Anything can happen in football. Guteirez and Obefami Martins might both put in storming performances again and smash in a couple of goals
