Got it off itunes yesterday no problems...................we has a fan base got to get this to No 1 and should be a dodddle if every red is supporting this.For 79p the words credit crunch shouldn't even come into it................spread the word on all social network sites

Liverpool's Hillsborough tribute song Fields of Anfield CD in chart slot

THE Hillsborough tribute CD marking the 20th anniversary of the disaster has shot into the Top 20 in the mid-week sales chart.

Retailers HMV and Liverpool FC stores have reported huge demand for the Liverpool Collective’s recording of The Fields of Anfield Road, which is also available to download from iTunes for 79p.

Some of Liverpool’s best-known musicians recorded the version of the Kop anthem, along with former Liverpool FC players and members of the Hillsborough Families Support Group.

The popular terraces tune now includes a third verse to mark the 20th anniversary of the disaster.

All proceeds from the song will be donated to the Hillsborough FamIlies Support Group.
