He's low on confidence. Last season he just blasted passed people, this season (and a couple of times against RM) when he has the opportunity to skin people and use his pace by flicking the ball passed and hitting top gear, he simply dropped his head, stopped and tried to cut inside.

he was pretty poor for large spells of the game. I was watching him off the ball and he very lazy and lacks awareness.
when he has the ball running into the channels thats when he looks dangerous but often he is too lazy to get himself into them positions and also will only half heartedly challange for a ball if ever.
there was some positives but the way we were playing anyone would have had a decent game.

If starting, he could be a big player for us tomorrow against O'Shea; who was troubled greatly by the pace and power of Balotellli (sic) on Wednesday. Also the high ball to Kuyt against Evra could also be a good weapon tomorrow.Comment
