Have to say it's shocking how Utd seem to get easy draws (at least in comparision to us) every single time in champs league.

I seriously, over last 4 or 5 years, can't remember them having a hard draw in this competition.

Would be interesting to see the breakdown of this very draw over each of the last few years, I'd bet it would show unbelievably easier draws for them against us, and perhaps even the arsenal and chelsea.

The only good thing about this draw is that i wont need to fork out hundreds of pound on a flight to europe and wont need to take two days off work.

I agree. From a PL or CL perspective, there would be nothing better than to see ManUre and Chelsea kicking lumps out of each other in the quarters but instead it's us again. If we win to nil at Anfield we should go through. Let's hope Bayern can do Barca. Arsenal MIGHT fo through as the Scum are at Highbury (or wherever) in the second leg.

From last 16 upto final stage in each of the years, I'd bet they've without doubt had an easier draw than us EACH AND EVERY time.

Yes they met barca at Semi-final stage last year. We met Chelsea. You can't expect an easy draw right to the final. But we had a inter - arsenal - chelsea leadup to last years final. They had Lyon! Roma! and then finally barca.

As for inter in last round. Since when is that any harder than us getting real madrid last round, nothing between it for me.


And I just have gut feeling it's been the same each year.
Comparing the 3 ties from last 16 to final, they have ALWAYS had an easier run over the last number of years we've got our act together in Europe.
