Sky had me foaming at the mouth after that, they've always hated Rafa but this time took it to a personal level rather than criticising his football decisions.

Who gives a **** if he does or doesnt celebrate for crying out loud? Thats for the 40k in the ground to do, he's got a job to do. You had commentary on it, Keys talking about it then ****ing Shreeves asking about it!! Does it matter if he jumps up and down like O'Neill, does a clenched fist like Wenger or just does nothing, who really cares? Concentrate on analysing the game you ****ing pricks. It smacks of running out of things to criticise him for given how well we are going so they are moving on to a personal thing which is disgusting. What he's done to deserve such hatred i've no idea, maybe it's a foreign thing, sky are always up the arse of Moyes, Allardyce, Ferguson and Redknapp yet despise Rafa, very strange.

I hate it when a manager jumps up and down and goes crazy on the touchline when their team scores. Especially Oneil as he looks like a jumping leprecon. When we score rafa has the class not to celebrate as he respects the other teams. Plus he is a class above them all.

I totally agree. Managers need to retain a bit of dignity IMO. I don't recall Mr Paisley jumping up and down like an uncoordinated lunatic.

When Ferguson celebrates he looks ridiculous. Not that he has celebrated much recently.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

EDIT: And I just realised I might have got my maths wrong anyway... basically I was just saying that befoe our game last week we were miles behind on GD but now we are ahead... amazing how quickly things can change!

Those finishes, Kuyt and Riera, bloody marvellous, the way Kuyt powered it in...bullet like, if it had hit a Villa player he'd have been in the back of the net with it.

And Riera, superb technique, totally un-saveable...top corner.

Lovely football today, the players seemed to have finally clicked and were seeing superb results, we have a defense unit which is hard to break down and a attacking unit with goals coming from all areas, Torres had a off day today but we more than made up for it in other areas. We seen players playing with confidence, off the ball movement was great and what a superb time to hit form. Also the players celebrations against the mancs and today showed they actually believed with have more than a chance and real passion from everyone and a team spirit.

                      Excellent excellent performance.

When we come racing out of the traps like that, nobody can cope with us. Why havent we done that more often???

Brilliant from Reina, very little to do but when called upon at 1-0, he produced two fantastic saves.

The back four were generally solid. Mascherano and Alonso were decent.

Special mention for Kuyt, who was excellent. Faded a bit in the 2nd period, but he was involved in 3 (i think) of the goals, very very good performance. Likewise Riera, who troubled them all day and thoroughly deserved his goal.

Gerrard is just the best player walking the face of the earth and Torres was quiet, but didnt get injured, so all's well.

When Rafa loosens those shackles, we're irresistable. Less of the slow, gradual start, more of this please.

I fancy Villa to get something at Old Trafford in 13 days. They're well overdue a good performance.

It's all about confidence. Nothing to do with shackles being loosened, or attitude. Just confidence. It also helps when we play against a team who actually come to play football.

Did anyone spot John Carew wearing a short sleeve shirt and big black gloves. What was that about?

I havent watched the game back yet, but if that's true, it's ****ing pathetic.

I honestly think there's a bit of xenohphobia at work. Rafa's the funny little foreign man who speaks with a bit of an accent and he's come here to show the natives how it's done - him succeeding is two fingers upto all the little englanders out there and i get the distinct feeling that the whole little englander thing is endemic within Sky Sports.
