OK, so as a Liverpool fan, its my duty to predict wins even though I think we might drop points? Seems reasonable enough. After all, my predictions really do affect the performances of Messrs Gerrard et al.

IMO yes. 'Defeatists' piss and moan and sigh at Anfield and are of no real use as far as I'm concerned. If we were all 'defeatist' we wouldn't get very far. Our attitude in the face of adversity is what sets us apart from 99% of other fans imo

on an internet forum? Does it make much of a difference? We are all Liverpool supporters but we have different perspectives. Thats what makes a side better, realising the side isn't all hunky dory despite our fantastic results recently.

We're still all Liverpool fans whether it's a forum or not? and that's your attitude whether it's on a forum or not. Yeah I realise that, none of us really think it's completely hunky dory though. Why does it have to be so black and white?

There's been a flurry of posts giving Joe beef, he's getting a royale pasting, but he does come out with the odd nugget of truth. Very sorry, puns are not my strong point.

It's not about realising it, we're not ****in stupid man, we can work out what needs attending to as regards our Club/team for the future, we don't need it ramming down our throats from posters who think they are in possession of some rare knowledge unknown to everyone but themselves.

It's just never ending, always looking for the down side, with this 'i MUST be the one to bring them all back down to earth attitude', it's got to stop Joe it really has.

In all seriousness, lets lay off the Joe bashing after this cathartic thread, if he has (hopefully) learnt not to react quite so extremely to adversity that is; he's said some silly things the last few months but so have lots of people, we all just react to tests of faith in different manners, and Liverpool FC has done nothing this season if not test our collective faith in it.

Onwards, and hopefully one place upwards

Back to the Villa game anyway, anyone notice the look on Carews face after Pepe made those saves from his headers, good headers too, the way he held off his man and almost let the ball bounce off his head at the correct angle..sort of deflecting the ball on target,

anyway his face...it had that look of....'Complete Helplessness' it was saying 'NOT Fair....Whyyyyyyyyy Agghhhhhhhh....SHOULD HAVE BEEN A GOAL!!!!'.
