For positioning/agility/distribution/shot-stopping he is superb at all of those aspects, he isnt strong enough at dealing with crosses imo to be considered truly world class, teams still target him from corners because he has a tendency to flail at it,

think thats a bit harsh.....a tendency to flail? i think he gets the odd one wrong but there isnt a keeper in the world who is flawless. Reina is World class imo.

Totally agree red g - there's not a keeper in the world with a 100% success rate at corners but generally he's very commanding IMO and has a strong, clean and authoritative punch.

He is one of the most agile keepers around. He gets down so quick and back up like a shot, pounces on pens like a cat and is very athletic. Not forgetting his distribution and speed at rushing out.I think he is on par with Cassilas as the best keepers around and ahead of Buffon and Chec.I wouldn't swap him for any other goalie.

Ask any Spaniard who's not a Real Madrid fan who the best Spanish goalkeeper is - they'll say its Reina. I've not ever heard a Spanish fan say any different. I asked a Spanish guy who randomly aproached me as I was wearing a Liverpool top in 2005. We were linked with Reina at the time and I asked him how good he was. He replied by saying he's the best goalkeeper in Spain. In Spain he was keeper well known for his ability to deal with crosses. Casillas will always be number one for Spain even if there are 10 Spanish goalkeepers better than - he is the darling of that team

Reina is by far the best keeper in the PL. Absolutely no doubt about that IMO, however on a world level I have to say Casillas is up there although this season maybe Pepe has just edged ahead of him.
