I wonder how you'd have felt about that final day title-decider scenario if asked back in august.
my head says that would be great, heart is not so sure

I personally wanted a title challenge into April and boy do we have one

Surely having one til the final day is better than having one which dies in april?

It wouldnt be good for the heart, certainly - but you've got to be in it to win it.

And after nearly 20 years without any proper challenge, to take it to the final day would represent an absolutely colossal level of improvement and progress. Even taking it into April does.

I've been critical of Rafa but this season, he's delivered far more than 99% of us genuinely expected, and i take my hat off to him for that.

            Makes me laugh really.

Prior to the Villa game yesterday we were all positive about our chances. The Mancs win as we all expected and everyones negative again!

Let's break it down. 6 games in 18 days on the back of a long season is no easy task for the Mancs. With every game likely to have something riding on it, and no easy games.

And all over the pitch Man Utd looked knackered yesterday. If we keep winning they will keep struggling and I think they'll crack.

Key game in the season for us is Arsenal at home. MUST WIN.
            Forwards.......

It's mainly because Villa was one of the most likely chances of them dropping something (on paper). You're right of course, so many games in a short space of time will be hard, and at this stage when you're in the final straight and chasing the title, even straightforward games are harder, when the pressure's cranked up.

I just hope adrenalin doesnt take them over the finish line.

Worked for them in 1999, and us in 2001. But neither team had the same amount and extent of fixtures that the Mancs have had this year. I will remain adamant that they will drop further points before the season ends, as I have said all along.

If we win every game and do not win the title i will be very suprised. That said, fair play to the Mancs if they win it the hard way. I'll still ****ing hate them, but credit where credits due.

If we win every game till the end of the season, how many will that be on the bounce? would it be a record?

I think it'd be 11 on the bounce and not a record.

Can anyone really see that happening? I can't.

I think when you look at some of the teams we are still to play, then yes.

The problem we have is that a few of them will be in a relegation fight, so will be trying just as hard for a result.

Surely you need to look at all of the teams we have to play, not some Arsenal, away to West Ham, and spurs are not easy games. Even Newcastle could be tricky if a shearer effect does develop.

Can see us not losing, but just don't honestly believe we are likely to win them all. Arsenal worry me.

Without trying to sound too 'know it all' but every game is a key game for us. Our focus MUST be on the next game and that game only - therefore Rafa MUST play our strongest available line up for every game until the end of the season. No ifs or buts IMO. That is our only hope.
