    Depends what you mean by finances. The club have obviously convinced the council that they - one way or another- have access to adequete funds to proceed. That's publicly verified.

      anyone know what the next step is then, cause reading parry's column last week, he said it was a small step that we've overcome. If it takes that long for a small step, I reckon we'll see our stadium in about 2018

          People forget that even if we could expand anfield, thats only part of the problem. The corporate hospitality value is low currently. that is where the bulk of the money is made.

            Absolutely right. In Arse's new stadium a whole layer of terracing is set aside for revenue generation. Distatesful as it may seem, it's an absolute necessity. What have we got - the carling suite stuck in the corner?

              As Tom alluded to earlier with the 'Cockernee' comment.

              It's not just the design of the stadium that creates the atmosphere, it's the bodies inside it.

              ANY stadium in the world would've been rocking with the Olympiakos/Chav$ki games.
