Would be hugely positive if this happens. Rafa contract, all first team player contracts boxed off, a nice nest egg from Carslberg and a couple of world class players (particularly who realistically.... im not sure).

To be fair though whether this is actually realisitic or the Yanks have just pulled a figure out the air.I dont know. I certainly hope not.

Just because we get a new deal with Carlsberg doesn't mean we will not get investment from the middle east. All it does is add value to the club and adds to the PR that h&g want for example

Owners now working together
Rafa and his staff sign a new deal
New CEO in place in the summer
New sponsorship deal

Or H&G might be around longer than expected.

I've been saying this for some time now. They ballsed things up big time with their public shenanigans, but it seems like they know what they are doing with regard to pulling the monetary side of the club up with by it's boot straps.

The whole region seems to be reeling from the GFC. Will they be any better than our current owners?
