Nemeth just had a good chance - should have scored really.

Excellent through ball by Pacheco to Nemeth who is fouled at the edge of the box, Pacheco than fires a good shot from the free kick which is saved by the keeper.

Own goal by Antwi from the corner.

Long ball forward by Sunderland, San Jose misses the interception, their forward gets to the ball, lobs Hansen and 2-0 to Sunderland.
Anyone reading these comments or are you all watching?

Mackay-Steven clears of the line from a header after a Sunderland corner. They've completely outplayed us in this first half.

End of first half. Pacheco and Spearing showed some nice touches while the rest of the squad has been poor and Sunderland deserve their lead.

Hmmm not the greatest of games and not a very good performance. Nemeth missed two pretty good chances, should have scored both..... Would have scored both last season.

Just needs that first goal to kick start him again.

Same could be said for Torres too.
                      Forwards.......

Didn't realise Torres season needed kick starting?? He's had a one game goal drought i think, since his goal against the Mancs??

Looked a bit desperate against Villa and has gone two games without a goal for Spain. Maybe it was just because we hit 5 that he wanted one.

Did Eccleston play? Says he did in the match report?
