Wigan away won't be that easy as they are decent team. If they lose two points there we'll be laughing.

So how should he have responded then?

It is about time we had a Manager who stood up to that bully. Well in Rafa. The team just needs to show the cojones to back him up.

Why does he need to say anything? What would be the big disaster if he'd just ignored the old duffer?

Ferguson said the winners of our CL tie would be their biggest threat. What's 'bullying' about that?

Why couldnt rafa just say something like "Maybe, we will see" and grin?

I just dont see the need to reply to this one.

And what’s the big disaster now he’s said what he has.

****, you don’t half make mountains out of molehills.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                      He answered a question ffs.

What's the problem? He has confidence in our team more confidence than you it seems.

To be fair, Ferguson was not really hyaving a pop at us, and Rafa was not really having a go at him either.

Maybe you should look at it this way. We are in a tight contest with Chelsea. If we win well all well and good, everyone stays happy. If we lose, there would no doubt be a bit of a drop in confidence.

I think Rafa has responded to cover the possible outcomme of us losing. Maybe if he had not responded people would look to Fergies comments and begin to worry. Maybe if we do lose people will now look at what Rafa said and see going out as maybe a blessing in disguise.
                        Forwards.......

If we win it will be the other way round, especially in the league. Fergie's used to this sort of pressure and I don't think he's too concerned about us or Chelsea to be fair.

Just to clarify, i'm not saying it'll have a good effect or a bad effect - or even any effect.

It might work out beneficial, it might work out counter productive, nobody can say for sure. But, i just dont see the need to get embroiled in this type of stuff, what is the purpose? I'd be inclined to just focus on my own team and not even respond to the ****e that comes out of the Toilet, whether it's from ferguson or whoever.

What exactly is the purpose of it?
