We can win this, we just need to compose ourselves. Scarily Barca are 4-0 up

We have been absolutely pants after the goal. Absolutely. Don't let Andy Gray rose tainted glasses tell you otherwise. We haven't played at the same tempo, we have given them the initiative and credit to Chelsea, they have deserved it. In fact, we are the lucky team heading to half time - Drogba should have scored at least one of his two chances.

Tactics have been horrendous - we have two extremely slow wingers who can't shift a 70s throwback at right back and a fragile left back and the full backs don't help either. Arbeloa doesn't want to cross and Aurelio hasn't put any decent ones once he has been high up the pitch. Riera has been piss poor, you'd think he would want to go at his right back, instead its square or back passes.

Gerrard - I haven't seen him do anything so far. I know he is man marked but surely if he moves quicker around the pitch and move more further advanced he will have a better chance of bamboozling the Chelsea defence. Utterly disappointing.

I can see this score staying the same and crashing out of the Champions League. Chelsea don't look like conceding another with Torres being marshalled and Gerrard in Essien's back pocket. Take those two out of the game and teams will beat us, Drogba on the other hand has moved Carragher and Skrtel into all sorts of places. Its really uncomfortable to watch.

In fairness to Chelsea, they’ve played well. Hiddink’s tactics have been very good.
                  Another MASSIVE game

chelsea are a complete different team than that we beat twice

rafa needs to bring babel on, to push their defence a bit backwards. we miss masch, lucas and xabi can't controle that chelsea midfield, so gerrad drops deeper and leaves torres isolated

maybe bring yossi on for lucas, and move stevie into midfield

Lucas advancing forward too much, leaving gaping hole in midfield, stevie g a bit subdued so far.....Come on lads!

Chelsea have done well to neutralise the midfield area. Lampard has pressed Alonso well and whenever Lucas has it, the aggressive Ballack is all over him.

Think Hiddink is as close as you can get to Rafa for tactical know-how and think it's showing.

They're doing to us what we've been doing to them over the most recent years.
Pressuring us high up pitch and marking tightly all over park.

Torres still looks lively though, could be our saving grace.

We just have to play a similar game to them in the 2nd leg, go for it.
Could be high scoring in both games, don't think we're necessarily out of it, even if we only drew.

A yellow for Terry would be a god-send.

Also think Babel needs to get on, put some fear into them, bomb few shots at goal.

Whilst Babel would be a more direct threat, Benayoun's style is more suited for this tight and rigid Chelsea defence however I fear Benayoun is carrying a bit of an injury from international duty which would mean, if needed, he might be used in the last 10 minutes of the game.
