I kind of now understand what it must have felt to have been a United fan once we tonked them 4-1 at their gaff. It was a barnstorming performance but it was efficient and professional. Two words you could describe Chelsea's performance tonight. Whilst they started slowly, they took control of the game and slowly crept back in and got the just dividends. Chelsea in the second half tested Reina nine times and looked dangerous every single time especially from Liverpool's Achilles heel - the dreaded set pieces, it feels like we have morphed back into the 90s.
So, will the players be mentally strong enough to take this result and beat Blackburn in Saturdays lunchtime kick off? Most of all, will the crowd be up for it?
