taking my two lads to watch this game in widnes tomorrow(cant get or afford 3 tickets to prem games) so they are "made up"...does anyone know who will be in the team..might there be one or two big names playing ..the lads would be over the moon if ther was...cheers

Alright mate, the team last week v Newcastle (we won....handsomely...dont ask ok? ) was:

Dudek, Peltier (3, Smith), Warnock (33, Darby), Roque, Paletta, Guthrie, Pennant (61, Flynn), Zenden, Fowler, El Zhar, Threlfall

Barring the injuries to Peltier (pity as he's a really good kid) and Warnock I think that the reserves won't be too disimilar to that...hope that Robert Ryder turns on the class for your lads!!


Anyone else find the comments by Rafa amusing towards Salif? The reserves are for the kids, blah blah, no space for you, blah blah...

i.e. **** off to Stoke!

Oh dear. I'm quite a volatile player myself, and haven't got sent off in my coughcareercough. Pay me their wages, and i wouldn't even get a yellow, if requested. Still if he's gave some 'tonian a shiner, who am i to complain.

As for Zenden. It's a shame - before us he was a very decent player, and i was very happy with the signing at the time.

Zenden was a free and was coming off the back of a bafflingly good season for Boro, so although I wasn't remotely actively pleased about it (having never rated him), I could see the sense in it.

Now, I'm unhappy that we've paid him so much in wages. He's ****ing ****.
