....you can be 4 points behind Man Utd but with two games to play, would you take it ?

Man Utd would have Arsenal (H) and Hull (A).

We would have West Brom (A) and Spurs (H).

I think that would give us a great chance to taking it down to the final day, where, let's face it, anything can happen.

No, i wouldnt take that. They could easily beat Arsenal at the Toilet and then they'd be champions. I appreciate that Arsenal could likewise beat them, but a home win wouldnt be a shock. Realistically, they must drop points before they play Arsenal. Otherwise, we wont win it.

Teams that had something to play for gave it a go against them. Villa and Sunderland were unlucky. I expect Arsenal to be a walk over and Hull will be dead on their legs. No, I wouldn't take that offer.

Portsmouth (Crouch) really need to do us a BIG favour next game. BIG favour.

I think David James could be the key to Pompey taking points off united. If he has a good game, it'll frustrate the prawners. But it's a long shot.

The whole defence and keeper would need to be 100% on it.

Campbell, Distin, Hreidersson, James, Johnson...and defensive midfielders too.

I get the feeling that most teams need to score 1st, to take anything from the mancs.

Couldn't agree more Craig. I think our result, fulham's and villa's attempt proved that.

Lets just hope the managers of the opposition in Utd's remaining games take that approach

I think Arsenal will give us a game, but other than that we can win our remaining fixtures. United have trickier games against City and Middlesbrough and also against Arsenal. I still believe we can do it.

I think we can easily bully Zola's west ham and overpower them.

And why do people think City will give United a game at the toilet?

City are utter ****e away from home. Derby or not, United will smash them.

Arsenal haven't been beaten since December. Both us and United face a massive task to beat them.

I agree with the sentiment but not sure why you have used our result to prove the theory

Without reading any other replies, I would have to say we wouldn't stand much of a chance in that scenario. We are quite capable of beating any 2 teams in the league, but likewise, Utd rarely drop points 2 games in a row against any teams also.

We had our chance earlier in the season. We didn't capitalise and now we have to rely on other teams doing the business for us, hence it is out of our hands.
