I noticed he was selling the PG Tips monkey on eBay for charity, but unfortunately it's in association with that newspaper. Not a good idea, but he didn't write those stories 20 years ago so let's not get carried away and vilify him too much eh?

I wasn't hanging on his every word but it was something along the lines of

"TOMORRORRR INT YOUR THIRTY PEE SUN... PLAY SUN BINGOORRRR"

Just not acceptable.

Does anyone else think it's about time we just referred to that newspaper as The Sun? There - I did it! It's a piece of ****e and we all hate it with a passion because of the filthy lies printed 20 years ago, but we can still call it by its name. Did Ronnie Whelan work for The Sun? His Dad used to work for Whelans.

I agree the SUN...said it too everybody has their views on it and that wont change especially after the emotions of yesterday. And no I wasnt saying Whelan works or worked for the SUN but he talks Liverpool down everytime he is on Irish TV...but apparently liverpoolrat is cool with that because he is a "legend."
