I think he's not all that good. He is one of those referees who seem to like making controversial decisions and consequently being the centre of attention.

He's as likely to give something soft or just plain wrong against us as for us.

Yes (excluding the execrable Mike Riley at Old Trafford) but he is more likely than some to give crap, "look at me" decisions. I still haven't seen anyone better than Collina although I think one of the other Spanish refs and that overly coiffed Italian ref are pretty good overall and certainly are better than Medina.

Let's hope he's due a good game at least.

Theres too much coincidence... especially as he gave Italy that dodgy (and it was dodgy) penalty and they never looked like World Champs in 06!
