The Fixture Gods have been kind to us

So now we all know we what we have to do, it very much crystalizes what needs to happen. Obviously this is the strongest position we have been in to win the Lg for 19 years, but it goes further than that.

Presently today as it stands, All of the other 3 top teams are in the champions Lg, which as unpalatable as is sounds can only be a good thing for us in the Lg. As are they in the FA cup again helping our cause

We play before United an amazing 6 times out of 7 enabling us to keep the pressure on. United now play 4 games in 10 days before the facing relegation battling Boro away.

We Play Arsenal just 3 days after there FA Cup Semi Final clash with Chelsea, with them still deep in a Defender injury crisis

All of this and we are in the form of the season, a very very strong finish is on the cards, whilst United have been utterly **** a fortunate for most of the season. It is on ..I kind of knew the champions lg would play out like it did, I think we took a massive lift from that performance and we are really turning the screw on United and I dont think they can handle it

Number 19 is coming home Believe

I can feel it in the force

There are definite advantages but, to be honest Nicey, I'd rather be in the CL and FA Cup semis too. We need to be challenging on all fronts. We exist to win things. I actually think the scum will go out of both competitions this week. I like your positive attitude and the only thing that can beat the disappointment of going out of Europe tonight is the thought of winning 19. Most of us can't even dare to dream what that would feel like. I just can't get my hopes up although, like tonight, I will shout myself hoarse until the end for this team.

      Amen Brother.

We all know Liverpool exists to win trophies and under Rafa we have become a major force once again. If I was to go out of any competition I would hope it was always like that last night, heart warming performance. Football is not a game of definite 's but one thing is for sure, teams fancy gettting something from United right now, there players are not stupid they know that is going on with them and what is going on with us, we have the momentum, the beleive, the players, the fixtures, the rest time, every single aspect pulling for us. I can feel it in my bones

Best advice I have ever heard, dont worry about what you cant change, the finish line starts to materialize, eyes narrow, now is the time .. Believe

I'd lose all others to win the premiership just this once.

Experience is a great thing and once the team have the experience of winning the league, it'll stand us in a better position for the coming seasons.

We already have the swagger for the CL, we don't yet have it for the EPL. Lets win it this once with nothing else, then we can move on.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Feels like there might be a twist in the season yet. I'm hoping you are right. This season has been a magical one - just hoping that continues.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Theres a lot to said for that I agree .. its all about believe.. we know what we have to do and we are truly set up to do it .. theres a maturity out there on the pitch .. its not like we are wiling overselfs over the line and hoping for the best .. we are walking out onto the football pitch with the absolute belief that we can outplay and out score teams.. thats crucial

I'd love to believe that the Scum's luck will finally run out, but they've been keeping it for years. Still, even by their standards they are pushing it this season.

I would have preferred to have played another team rather than le Arse next week but they do play two games after Liverpool so some serious scouting is needed and fatigue might be a factor.

Yes they've had a lot of luck down the years but they haven't won the title EVERY year have they? They are under serious pressure from their biggest rivals who are in great goalscoring form.

Since 1992 when Scum first starting really challenging for the title they have a 55% success rate in PL title races ........ so nearly HALF of the time they have been beaten in the race.

Last season they dropped SEVEN points in their last 6 games. If Chelsea had won their last 5 games they'd be champions. IMHO if we win all our games we will be champions.

                  BELIEVE MAN.

We have so many factors now in our favour:

                  1. Less fixture congestion
                  2. We play before them 5 times so can turn up the heat each week
                  3. We have better goal difference
                  4. We are in better form
                  5. They look tired and could yet pick up more injuries as the games pile up
                  6. We play a weaker Arsenal which is our toughest game

I want them to go through to the next round and lose in the semis, in a penalty shoot out, mainly because until the end of the season, they will play Wednesday and weekend fixture. With Rio's on going injury, poor discipline and fatigue, it can only lead to dropping points.

We only play before them 3 times now I think because of fixture changes for TV Coverage, our 2nd last game away to West Brom is now a sunday game at 1.30, whereas the scum play Arsenal on the saturday with a lunch time KO. Shouldnt make much difference really, hopefully they have already dropped a couple of points by that stage and we are still on our winning streak

I honestly think if we beat Arsenal (which we will imo) then we win the league.
Scoring 4 goals away to Chelsea without Gerrard, beating Man U at home without Gerrard and Torres, winning 4-1 at Old Trafford, beating Chelsea home and away in the prem.
All of that has to instill great belief and confidence for the PL.
I'd rather win all 4 competitions but if I had to choose 1 to still be in with a chance of winning after Easter it's the Prem every single time for me.

I like the optimism. All we can do is win our games, and I have confidence that we can do that. Unfortunately we also need 2 bad results for United and I'm not sure I see that happening. I'm almost afraid to believe.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
