Walked out of work at 2.30, walked to Hillsborough, laid some flowers on behalf of all reds who couldn't be there, brilliant service, 2 mins silence, apart from the idiot with the car horn (there's always 1!)
Myself and some of our patients were insisting our ward came to a standstill at 3.06 for two minutes, apparently it worked and everything stopped.
For the 96, YNWA!!!!
As I do every year I'll be leaving the office to go and stand outside for a couple of minutes to pay my respects.
And as ever I'll be the only Red in the office doing so. There are Scouse Reds in my office and non-Scouse. It riles me every year. Perhaps it shouldn't, but it does. They'll be sitting at their desks, laughing away as usual.....
Can't believe fellow reds would normally laugh at a sad occasion like this. The memorial service today was unbelievable, especially when fans started chanting "justice for the 96". That message was loud and clear.

Just to clarify...they're not laughing at the occasion. It's more just blissful ignorance. I really can't get my head around it, especially from one of them who is a very intelligent and decent man from Liverpool, and an ardent Red
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Watched the whole service on the Liverpool channel - very well organised as per usual and Anfield was packed apart from the upper tiers.
I too watched it brilliant turnout , I couldn't believe the Minister of sport spoke of Gordan Brown's support for the momery of the 96 and expected to get away without a mention of Justice for the 96 to be fair though the kop showed him their feelings

At 2:45 I put on my shirt and went to our local church - was shut!
I stood outside and listened to nature for 15 minutes and then called my mate who was just about to turn phones off and leave his office for 10mins.
At 3:06 I stood alone outside the church next to a tall cross and listened again to nature for a further 2 minutes, knowing I was far from alone.
I walked home to find my wife watching the news live with a very sad face as she knows what it means to us all.
After a few minutes I rewound the tape and watched it all again somewhat choked...
I know some people do not like fans from outside the city but I honestly believe that we are ALL brothers and sisters when it comes to our club, wherever you are.
