A few seasons ago Riley refereed Man U in a number of home games and I believe (and I might have got the numbers the wrong way round) he gave 8 penalties in 6 games to them (possibly 6 in 8 but I think it was the season he gave two against us at Old Toilet so I could have been right first time). He didn't referee any scum away games that season until the very end of the season when they played Everton. Yes, you've guessed it, he gave them a penalty in a 1-0 win! I think this is a load of tosh. The record of Manc games ref'd by Riley proves that. Only thing I would say is that all refs need to be stronger when managing in the big games and at the big stadiums. But there aren't many refs around who don't normally appear to cave in to pressure from the big teams, which is pitiful really.Forwards.......Comment
