At the start of the season, i'm sure people's views would probably have been different to what they are now, so i'm curious to gauge how they might've changed.

Do you feel the title is our level of expectation now?

And how about next season, what would be considered a good achievement and acceptable for next season?

I don't think it's reasonable to demand more from any one season than challenging for the league to the end and still being in the Champions League come April. Let's face it, the top teams in the UK and Europe are all pretty good and success can't be guaranteed in any one year.

Over a period of a few seasons - take your pick how many - then I think it's reasonable to expect the manager of Liverpool (at least from where we are now, thanks in large part, let's face it, to our current manager himself) to win at least one of the two big trophies or else move on.

As much as i'd love us to win it this year, i wont be overly disappointed if we dont. Our future is really bright.

I'm satisfied with us challenging (at last) this season. If we win the league, that would be a huge bonus, but we have taken a massive step forward this year and don't think it would be reasonable to complain if we ended up without a trophy this year.

I said at the start of the season I'd happy if we were still in the title race come mid april, so I think we've had a decent season. Obviously I hope we win it, but even if we don't we'll have gained the experience of battling it out for the title, and the longer the race goes on the more experience the players will gain.

Personally, I didn't think we'd be challenging in the way we are but now we are here and given the amount of points we have dropped,
I now expect us to win the Premiership.

I also expect that any changes made to the squad, will allow us to make an even better challenge next season.


We will be in a prime position to push on whilst I also think the others may take a small step back.

That is unless... Wenger spends, Hiddink stays and Mancs sign Ribery and Kaka.

should no, could yes. Would be a phenomenal acheivement giving our lack of squad, and torres being out for so long

It should be our minimum requirement every year and we hoped for one this year and got one

would be gutted if we dont know, but the reality is in the cold light of day i didnt expect to win it this year

his season has set our expectations up a notch. A good achievement and excellent would be a title challenge to the end, an excellent season would be winning the league.
