IF Arsenal beat us tonight I'm sure Ferguson will be hailed as the master of mind games though....it would be typical.
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

As I see it Ferguson saw a chance to get at Rafa. Rafa didn`t take the bait, so Ferguson just decided to focus his energy somewhere else.
Ferguson is a master when it comes to mind games, but Rafa has learned his lessons and now has the upper hand IMO.

No No No, he WAS a master at mind games, trouble is, and this is a FACT by the way, when you get to his age the mind doesn't work as well as it used to, slows down if you like, it's happening now to him imo, Rafa just accelerated the process is all.

                  Take this snippet from him..

"I made my point about it. I don't understand why he did it," said Ferguson.

"I don't want to go on about it anymore. I made my point. There is no point carrying it on. It's plain for everybody to see now. I have made my issue about it."
You see i don't think he did make his point, his little rant wasn't about questioning why Rafa had made his little speech, it was all about attacking Rafa personally, insulting and questioning his dignity, he doesn't even realise that, worse, he doesn't seem to realise/recognise that almost everyone has come down on the side of Rafa with this 'gesture' ****e.

His little "their hurt" remark proves it, and serves only to make him look even more of a fool than he and Allardyce managed between them.

Ferguson’s lost. By swinging out the front door to have a pop at Rafa on a weekend when neither team was playing in the Premier League was pointless. In the process he left the back door wide open for Dave Moyes to nip in with his ‘is Mike Riley a Man United fan?’ dig. Outcome, Riley waves away a United penalty appeal, United crash out of the FA Cup and Youtube’s treated to another clip of Fergie ranting like an idiot on the touch line. I think Ferguson knows just how much of **** up he made of this.

I suggest changing the title to... Fergie "calms" Rafa feud

I think the chronology was Moyes first then Ferguson in terms of the comments. I have a feeling at least part of the point was to deflect attention away from the referee comment so that Riley was as `fair' to them as he usually is.

Change 'Calms' to 'Loses' and I think the title is correct
