This is the stuff champions are made of. We are kicking to the Kop. We are kicking to our fans. Our captain doesn't want to look stupid on national telly. We have absolutely bossed them out of the game, they have been unbelievably lucky with their 100% success rate (1 shot, 1 goal)

Their keeper has had a good game today, Benayoun has been a threat, lurking around, making himself a nuisance. Personally, it will take something special to beat this guy, he looks like he wants to prove himself after letting in a disaster of a goal on Saturday. I would take Riera off, he has been totally ineffective, both in an attacking sense and defensively has offered no cover to Aurelio who at times has had to worry about Nasri and Sagna. Mascherano, overall has had a right stinker. His distribution, lack of tackles, lack of control. He should have swung his boot in that sort of position on the pitch. He has to deliver now.

The noise in the second half will be massive, that should be more than enough to drive this title chasing side tonight. We simply have to win. Arsenal are there for the beating.
