I'm glad we've got that game out of the way and I hope they play that well against United.
We'll have to agree to disagree then as I think that was one of the worst Arsenal performances against us I've ever seen.

It was one of those freak games where the opposition are completely outplayed but have a goal for every chance they got.

Overall we were better than they were and on the balance of play deserved to win.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Nope, other that Arshavin, their keeper and our mistakes that could've been an 3 or 4-0. They had 4 chances and got 4 goals, we peppered them and got 4. It was attack, attack, attack from us, they were extremely lucky to come away with a point.

**** me fella we have given them some right doings over the years so how you can say its one o their worst teams ever seems a bid mad to me

each to their own though - if everyone on here was right all the time youd only have a forum consisting of me

except the arshavin bit. dont get me wrong, 4 goals at anfield in some acheivement but other than that he was pish ( i know that sounds daft but i know what i mean ) he has looked too lightweight, too slow and scared of the ball so far this year. it may be that he needs time to get used to the prem but for me he is still one of the most overrated footballers plaing in the prem today. twice he tried to run with the ball - one he kicked out for a corner with his standing foot and the other he ran out the pitch with no-one within 20 foot of him. he was lucky last night our defense were pish.

i have been taking a bit of abuse so far today trying to get that point across at work as everyone hits back with the old "how can he be ****e he scored 4 at anfield"

To me that Arsenal team was lacking in quality. Sagna and Gibbs are poor, Sagna especially. They panicked consistently in defence. Silvestre did ok, but they were at 6s and 7s throughout the game and subjected to attack upon attack and looked shaky.

Fabregas had an ok game, but I hardly noticed him on there for most of it. Song and Denilson poor. Nasri and Bendtner did ok.

Fabianski and Arshavin...well, they got them the points.

The stats speak for themselves, isn't it something like 14 shots against 4 and 12corners to 0.

I see it as their worst performance because you expect more from the Gooners.

We only had ourselves to blame for a couple of bad mistakes that let them in.

I'm surrounded by a few Mancs who are in agreement and thats unheard of.

Just as he was about to square it though Torres had strayed ahead of him and hence would have been offside. Forcing Riera into the shot.

                              Should've played it earlier then.

All said and done, how ****in lucky were Arsenal to be gifted those opportunities. On another day we could have strolled that game.
