I'm with you on this on NICEY!! I dont think Tuesdays result was bad... it was actually good... we wanted it so bad that we kept on getting picked off when we made silly mistakes... I doubt we will be making those errors again... but saying that, we were playing an Arsenal team that is on a good run of form, they're up against Manure in the CL and have a chance of 3rd place...
Like I said when I was on 606 last night (first caller) to Tim Lovejoy that its still possible for us to win... Like my folks always told me... DONT COUNT YOUR CHICKENS...
Positivity.... thats what we need...

I heard about a minute of that programme last night before I realised what it was and who was hosting it. Lovejoy said that during the Seventies and Eighties we went out and smashed the transfer record repeatedly and bought our success.Originally posted by ex_KT_red4ever View PostI'm with you on this on NICEY!! He specifically mentioned Dalglish and Rush. I seem to recall Kenny being a British record (£440k - or less than Gerrard earns in a month
) but surely Rushie was about £3.50, a few packets of Waggon Wheels and a couple of goal nets.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I don't know why you're confused ??Originally posted by Elvoz View Post
I would have sooner take 1 point than no points. So yes, why get all down about just a point. Arsenal are not a bad side. And they came to play for three points. Something had to give and that something was neither side took all the points. So... would you prefer to be 4 points behind Manure or 3??
Why people are so bloody pessimistic...??????
So yes... Tuesdays result 4 - 4 with Arsenal was not a bad result. Especially as I believe Arsenal will go to Old Trafford and take all the points. Plus the Manc Derby is never an easy one to call... and Mark Hughes would do no harm in staying as Citeh Manager by nicking a draw or better a win... Boro & Hull need every point... and they could scrape a draw...
So like I said Tuesday was not a bad result. Of course a win would have been fantastic... I still think its on!

Could it be any more perfect?
on the 20th anniversary year.
Wearing the grey kit and with Utd just about to equal our league record.
# Parry Leaves
# Rafa Signs
# Gerrard Signs
# king Kenny signs
# Ownership is sorted meaning we can compete in coming seasons.
# We win the league on the last day of the season
# Mancs after going for the quintuple lose in the CL final
It is meant to be.............
if not, what a season.**********

As long as we win every game, we cant ask for anything more. If it goes our way then ****in marvelous, if not them im still a massively proud Liverpool fan who cant wait to see our team go up a few gears (which is clearly possible) and smash the **** out of teams next season and watch that cunt Fergie really quaking in his kilt. I fecking love you LFC.

Not necassarily. Arsenal, Man City & Borough are all potential bannana skins for themOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostBut we DIDNT win every game, did we? We needed to beat Arsenal.
I cant see them winning at Old Toilet. If it's gonna happen, it has to start this weekend, with Spurs.
Still it would be a lot better if Spurs got the wheels in motion.

But it doesn't. The last 2 games would be fine. It's really unlikely to happen, yes, but after every game there is a round of "That's it, it definitely over" followed a few days later by "Next game or it's definitely over". If people keep this up they'll be right in the end, but it is rather repetitive.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostBut we DIDNT win every game, did we? We needed to beat Arsenal.
