    Liverpool fans can kop an Ian Rush golden mobile for £15,000

    A gold-plated mobile phone has is set to become the prime object of desire for Liverpool fans at a price £14,490.

    Soccer legend, Ian Rush is fronting the exclusive limited edition mobile phone launched by telecom company Galentia in association with Liverpool Football Club.

    Only 250 limited edition mobile phones have been produced, each encased in either 18-carat yellow or 18-carat rose gold, at the bottom of the sapphire crystal screen "Liverpool FC" is engraved.

    Commemorating Liverpool FC’s league titles are 18 diamonds on the phone’s back panel. Each carry VVS quality status and mark the sheer brilliance of the players who have made Liverpool FC one of the most successful Clubs the world has ever seen.

    The mobile phone will be presented in a North African black walnut box, lined with red velvet.

    Alongside the phone, within the presentation box, is a flawless, limited edition 22-carat gold plated commemorative medallion, carefully crafted to include Anfield stadium on the face.

    Each medallion is numbered in coordination with the limited edition phone it represents.

    Ian Rush, said: "The Liverpool FC Legends Edition by Galentia has been designed to celebrate the proud history and tradition of the most successful British football team.

    "As someone who played for Liverpool Football Club I can say with confidence that the phone embodies the qualities you would expect in something specially produced to celebrate the Club's achievements.

    "Many of the 250 limited edition mobile phones are already being reserved, including Ian Rush’s special design and additional players' numbers have been offered to the current team."

    Liverpool FC Commercial Director, Ian Ayre said: "We are proud to be working with Galentia to produce the Liverpool FC Legends Edition mobile phone.

    "Liverpool FC and its fans are always known for their unique approach and to be working with a uniquely designed product of the highest quality is an additional way to showcase the Club's history and players"

    The Liverpool FC Legends Edition by Galentia is available via the Galentia website www.galentia.com and in the Liverpool FC Store in Liverpool One.

      For that price i have to agree. Ok 18 diamonds and some gold, but the look doesn't do the price justice imo, then again it's only a phone, and not the sort any average fan is going buy.

      Also. i'm a bit annoyed with the 18 diamonds, they could have said with the option the add more.
