Its usually only a minority that start it and the dick eds that dont have a clue join in because they think its the done thing. Generally though id say the majority of our fans arent that sad or fickle (id like to think so anyway).

Spot on. He needed to know how the fans felt about they way he left but nobody can argue with what he did for us.

Thats me too, last year or before Owen would have been a great addition to our squad, now he genuinely looks like a beaten man, hell hes only 29 he should be at his peak now, but thats not the case and he looks like hes thinking about the golf course when he plays. Complete waste of a genuine world class talent.

I dont really care about him enough to applaud or give him ****e. He went, I had no problem with him trying something new, im the same in my life but I did have a problem with his lies about the contract talks. But he left, its turned out to be a horrendous decision, we've won stuff, we've got a better striker now than he was so Im not really arsed about him either way.

I dont want him back either, he gets suggested every summer but even forgetting past circumstances he just looks completely shot, sooo slow, weak finishing, poor touch, I was baffled by Capello's decision to ignore him but im starting to see why.
